Moving beyond traditional boundaries
At USD's Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering, we harness and nurture students' innovative spirit through our engineering and entrepreneurship program. We offer an entrepreneurial track for senior design, where students learn how to design, develop and produce something of value and market that product to their customers through the Capstone Design Experience. We also offer an entrepreneurial competition designed to engage, educate and mentor technology innovators. Through student participation in the Torero Entrepreneurship Challenge (TECh), our team guides budding entrepreneurs down a proven pathway to help turn an idea into something tangible.
