USD’s Industry Scholars Program (ISP) is a year-long professional development program tailored to equip engineering and computer science students with hands-on experiences that foster career readiness and success. By connecting students just like you with industry professionals and engaging in real-world activities, the program teaches relevant technical and professional skills that will help boost your resume, expand your network and maximize your earning potential.
An immersive experience
Elevate your academic journey
The Industry Scholars Program provides an immersive learning experience, offering scholars a broad exposure to various engineering industries through interactive workshops, site visits, mentorship opportunities and internships. Additionally, the program enhances professional development by teaching essential skills such as leadership, networking, interviewing, emotional intelligence and other competencies that are not typically covered in the standard curriculum. Scholars must be on campus for the given fall and spring semester; be able to commit to three meetings per semester; and have a willingness to actively engage in the program. Come connect with driven peers who share your ambition for success — it’s a whole lot of fun!
