GB Singh

GB Singh, PhD, academic director of the MS in Engineering Management and Leadership program, holds the position of Director of Business Management at Solar Turbines, a Caterpillar company. In this role, he leads project execution and manages a global team.Dr. Singh's academic background includes a PhD and MS in Mechanical Engineering from UCSD, a BS in Instrumentation & Control from Pune University and an MBA in Information Systems from South Gujarat University. He has also completed an Executive Leadership Program at Thunderbird School of Management and holds a degree in Brand Management from the Disney Institute. His research focuses on Hybrid Power Systems, exploring diverse energy sources such as solar, wind, gas turbines and battery storage. Dr. Singh has contributed to the field with published articles and presentations at technical conferences and has secured numerous funded grants.
