Rachel TenWolde is the Head of Unmanned Systems Advanced Development at Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific). She graduated from the University of San Diego with a BS/BA in Industrial and Systems Engineering and began her career as a facilities planner for the Unisys Corporation. She developed a strong interest in six sigma and lean manufacturing while supporting the production of telemetry equipment at L3 Communications. Since then she’s had an opportunity to apply her expertise to many unique applications for the Navy and DoD. She currently leads a large group of scientists and engineers in the development of autonomous and unmanned systems across the land, sea and air domains.
