Shannon Wesley is an associate director of master data and analytics with Becton-Dickinson (BD) in San Diego. BD is a global medical technology company that is advancing the world of health by improving medical discovery, diagnostics and the delivery of care. Wesley is a leader focused on driving value by creating and executing digital, data & analytics transformation initiatives.
Before graduating from San Diego State Uuniversity, she received an internship from VisiCom, as a system engineer on the Quality team. Her career with VisiCom/Titan/L-3 included various positions of increasing responsibility in engineering and project management. After 13 years, Wesley accepted a role with Qualcomm. As a senior business process manager, she led key strategic cross-functional global complex initiatives that included large M&A projects.
Wesley is involved in several organizations that promote a diverse and inclusive workplace. She serves as community outreach/external partnerships leader for Women's Initiative Network (WIN) at BD. In her role, she serves as an ambassador for Athena, a premier women's advocacy organization that fast tracks women in STEM through leadership development and HBA (Healthcare Businesswomen's Association), whose core purpose is to further the advancement and impact of women in the business of healthcare.
