PARTNERSHIP

USD School of Law, rich in history and tradition, stands at a pivotal moment. We are embarking on a significant journey to transform our law school building.

Our vision for the next decade includes extensive remodeling and building of new spaces to meet the modern demands of legal education. This ambitious project aims not just to renovate spaces but to revolutionize the way we teach, learn, and interact.

Your support in this transformative endeavor will lay the foundation for decades of academic excellence and innovation at USD School of Law.

At the University of San Diego School of Law, our foundation is built on people—our students, alumni, faculty, and community.

Recently, the law school’s Campaign Committee, led by Dennis Doucette ’86 (JD), Karen Hewitt ’89 (JD), and Denise Hickey ’94 (JD) launched a bold facilities improvement campaign to renovate our existing spaces and reimagine new, dedicated environments designed for the future of legal education.

A Bold Vision. A Lasting Legacy.

This campaign does more than update buildings. It advances a dynamic vision for learning—one that strengthens our legacy of excellence in clinical and interdisciplinary education while creating forward-thinking spaces where innovation thrives.

We are designing advanced, adaptable facilities that empower students, elevate faculty scholarship, and support groundbreaking programs for decades to come.

TRANSFORM

Our campaign reimagines how space shapes learning. By significantly expanding and modernizing Warren Hall and the Pardee Legal Research Center, we will dedicate these legacy buildings primarily to student-centered functions.

INVITE

Reconfigured interiors will feature state-of-the-art classrooms, collaborative hubs, and welcoming gathering spaces that foster connection and creativity.

A signature main entrance will create an inviting gateway for students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community partners—reflecting the openness and engagement that define the Law School.

MODERNIZED STUDENT LEARNING EXPERIENCES

Every design choice prioritizes the student experience. Modern classrooms will support interactive teaching and experiential learning. Dedicated study areas will provide every student with space to focus and collaborate. Updated facilities will integrate technology seamlessly, ensuring our graduates are prepared for the realities of contemporary legal practice.

FACULTY EDUCATIONAL AND RESEARCH SPACES

At USD Law we are creating a vibrant, modern environment to prepare the next generation of attorneys and legal professionals to lead with knowledge, skill, and integrity.

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP ENGAGEMENTS

San Diego depends on USD School of Law to educate, inform, and guide leaders in law, business, government, and international relations. This campaign begins at home—with our alumni, faculty, university leadership, and the entire San Diego community. Your support ensures that our facilities reflect the excellence of our programs and the ambition of our students.
