Steven Covella comes to the University of San Diego after spending a decade in journalism, where he worked for print, digital, and broadcast outlets. Over his career he's covered a wide range of topics including politics, pro sports, and health and science. His goal is to use all the skills he's accrued to tell interesting and impactful stories, and shine a light on the changemakers driving them.
Steven graduated with a BA in American Literature and Culture from UCLA, where he was also an editor at the Daily Bruin. He lives in Ocean Beach, and enjoys running and watching sports.
