The Prayer & Wellness Room is intended to be a place of respite for USD School of Law faculty, staff, and students. This is a multipurpose room, and wellness means different things to different people, so we encourage you to use this space with that in mind.
In general, the Prayer & Wellness Room is meant to be a place of quiet, contemplation, and renewal. To that end, we encourage you to use the space to pursue your vision of well-being with the following guidelines:
| Mondays - Thursdays: | 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. |
|---|---|
| Fridays: | 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. |
An open space for USD School of Law community members
At all times practice mindfulness by planning your time and activities in a way that supports others who may be using the room. While you may use the room as a small group for guided prayer, meditation, or wellness activities, to ensure accessibility for prayer, it is not possible to reserve the Prayer & Wellness Room.
A respectful space
The Prayer & Wellness Room is intended to be a space where people are free to find peace, comfort, and calm; for that reason, users are encouraged to leave electronics in their bags. If you intend to use an electronic device for music, a guided meditation, etc., please use headphones. Phone calls are prohibited in the Prayer & Wellness Room.
Deep breaths are encouraged!
Please respect the desires of others and refrain from engaging in activities not contemplated by the space that may be significantly disruptive to another user. If a conflict arises, please address it directly and professionally.
It is not intended to be a lounge, study space, or meeting room. If you seek a quiet study space, please reserve a private study room or another reservable meeting room (there are two available within the Law Student Affairs suite).

Please show respect for the many people who use this space in the following ways:
- Please clean up after yourself and take responsibility for your own mess.
