Professional Experience
Garewal taught student-led sections of legal writing and research for two years while attending the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. She practiced law at Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps in San Diego where she advised commercial and residential developers on a variety of complex real estate matters including common interest development issues and state and federal regulatory matters. She joined USD School of Law in 2009.
Professor Garewal teaches courses in legal writing and research.

Garewal served on the Southern California Law Review. She is a member of the Legal Writing Institute and the Order of the Coif.
