Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Eta Sigma Chapter, was the first black fraternity founded at Cornell in December 1906. The San Diego chapter was later chartered in 1972. The brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. develop leaders, promote brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities.
