Scott Denton is a Principal Design Engineer/Systems Architect at Cisco Systems working on high speed integrated silicon photonics and 7nm Mixed Signal Design and Architecture. 

He was Co-Founder and Vice President of Engineering at uPlay, which was Sold to Callaway. He then became the Senior Director Electronic Devices divison for Callaway Golf. 

Other previous employment included Broadcom as a Senior Design Engineer where he had been project and design team leader on several projects including broadband transceivers, receivers, and transmitters. He specializes in architectural specifications (EAS) creation, chip design and verification. He was a project lead for "YUKON", the first single chip OC-48c SONET/SDH Framer/ Mapper with integrated clock recovery and clock synthesis. He was also a Manager (Mixed Signal Design) for Applied Micro. 

He had three patents currently in preparation.

He received his BS/BA in Electrical Engineering from USD in 1997.
