Brian J. Lee is a mechanical engineer with the Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific (NIWC-PAC), a research and development arm of the United States Navy, in Point Loma, CA. He is responsible for developing deployment and mechanical control systems on intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance technologies advanced by the U.S. Navy. He also utilizes the set of skills he had acquired in his 11 years as a Damage Control Petty Officer with the United States Coast Guard in fabricating and troubleshooting various systems being developed, along with creating and overseeing deployment plans for various projects at NIWC-PAC.

Lee received his BS/BA in mechanical engineering from the University of San Diego Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering in 2019. He was a member of the USD Chapter of the Student Veteran Organization and acted as president during the 2017-18 academic year. He also served as an ambassador for the USD Military and Veterans Program, helping bridge the gap between the veteran and military-connected students with the overall USD community. He is currently serving as a member of the USD Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Department Advisory Board.
