USD Celebrates International Student and Scholar Diversity

USD welcomes hundreds of international students and scholars each year. Approximately one-half of the international student population are full-time degree seeking students. The top five countries represented by USD international students and scholars are: China, Kuwait, Mexico, Spain and Saudi Arabia.

Internationalization as a Strategic Direction at USD:

Located on the Pacific Rim and just 22 miles from the Mexican border, the University of San Diego is optimally positioned for international activity. USD has been involved in international instruction, research, and service throughout the world for many years, and we're expanding our activities with an increased emphasis on the importance of global awareness for the entire campus community.
