Valentina is both a Retention Specialist and a Torero Connect Counselor for Student Support Services. As a proud USD alumna, she is passionate about providing personalized guidance and meaningful support to SSS students throughout their journey at USD. Valentina’s work is rooted in an asset-based approach that empowers students by celebrating their unique strengths, talents, cultures, and life experiences. She is committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment where students feel seen, valued, and supported.
Valentina’s office is located in UC 102C, which is directly across from the SSS office. Outside of work, Valentina enjoys reading mystery and thriller novels, catching sunsets at the beach, and spending time with her cat, Mochi.
