Track your Degree Progress
On the road to graduation, use Degree Works to keep an eye on how you’re doing. Degree Works is a great tool for planning your progress toward completing your program and making sure you’re staying on track to graduate.
Petition to Graduate
Before you finish your degree program, you'll need to formally request a petition to graduate, signaling your intent to finish and verifying you've met all graduation requirements.
Get your Diploma
You've worked hard to achieve your degree. Now it's time to get it in writing.
Your diploma will be ordered 2-3 weeks after your degree has been conferred by the Office of the Registrar. Expect to receive your diploma 4-6 weeks after your degree has been awarded. Your diploma will be sent to the address provided on your petition to graduate.

After August 31
Replacement Diplomas
If you have graduated from USD and would like to receive an additional copy of your diploma, please mail or hand-deliver the Replacement Diploma form (PDF) with check payment to:

Digital Diplomas
For Students Who Graduated in January 2019 or Later
In addition to a paper diploma, you'll also receive a digital diploma which can be shared with friends and family, prospective employers, posted to social media platforms or saved to a device. Digital diplomas are ordered 2-3 weeks after degrees are conferred and will be sent to your USD email address. For help logging in to access your digital diploma, please send an email to congratulations@parchment.com.
If you have already petitioned to graduate you can view your mailing address. To update your diploma mailing address, please send a request to registrar@sandiego.edu.
