Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. – Delta Epsilon Chapter holds the distinction of being the first Historically Black undergraduate fraternity chapter established in San Diego, California, founded on March 26, 1951. Since its founding, the chapter has upheld a proud tradition of excellence, leadership, and service within both the university setting and the broader San Diego community. The brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi are committed to the fraternity’s fundamental purpose: achievement in every field of human endeavor. Through academic excellence, mentorship, community engagement, and professional development, members of Delta Epsilon strive to uplift one another and create meaningful change.
