Gamma Phi Beta

Gamma Phi Beta (ΓΦΒ)

Gamma Phi Beta – Epsilon Gamma Chapter was founded at the University of San Diego in 1984. Nationally, Gamma Phi Beta is one of the ten oldest women’s organizations in North America and holds the distinction of being the first to be called a “sorority,” founded on November 11, 1874, at Syracuse University. At USD, Gamma Phi Beta members actively contribute to campus life through leadership in student organizations, philanthropic events, and community involvement. Rooted in strong values, the chapter fosters a welcoming and inclusive sisterhood—one where members are encouraged to show up as their most authentic selves and support one another in growth and belonging.

Gamma Phi Beta belongs to the College Panhellenic Association and participates in CPA recruitment before the spring semester. Follow them on Instagram to stay connected.
