Rationale

The nationally or internationally-affiliated chapters of fraternities and sororities at the University of San Diego operate in a mutually beneficial relationship with the University. Continuation of the University contribution through advising and support is essential to ensure maximum benefit of the community both to the University and to the individual students in the fraternity/sorority community. Fraternities and sororities can make a positive contribution to the co-curricular experiences of student members and to the quality of student life in general.
