Student Application Checklist and Information

Students pursuing a concurrent JD/MAPJ degree would be required to be separately admitted to both programs. The requirements for the MAPJ are listed below and the requirements for the University of San Diego School of Law can be found on the School of Law website.

English Language Proficiency Requirements*

*International applicants only.

The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is mandatory for all applicants educated outside the United States. The test can be waived if English is your primary language or you have obtained a bachelor's degree from the U.S., Great Britain, Canada or Australia. Other exceptions can be made on a case by case basis.

  • IELTS: 7
