Celebrating Scholarly Submissions

With so many demands on faculty time, we recognize that it is hard to find the time and motivation to complete and submit scholarly works in progress. Let’s work together to get over the finish line!

To encourage submission of scholarly works, the Office of the Provost and Center for Inclusion and Diversity are offering several deadlines throughout the year for faculty to be recognized for their submissions. Any faculty member who submits their product(s) to a peer-reviewed or peer-critiqued entity before the deadline, and uploads details and proof of submission here, are featured below and invited to a celebration.

The next Celebrating Scholarly Submissions deadline is September 1, 2025.

Once the work has been published, the faculty member can submit the citation here for further recognition and to be considered for a feature story or CID Fireside Chat. We plan to feature monthly spotlights on published works and their authors, and offer other avenues to promote the work.

Congratulations the following faculty who have submitted scholarly products. The showcased research covers an expansive range of topics and disciplines and includes collaborators who are USD undergraduates, graduate students, postdocs and other faculty members from USD and beyond.
