Faculty and students at University of San Diego are conducting transformational research that straddles and spans disciplines, sparks innovation and excitement, and cultivates the next generation of thoughtful thinkers and engaged citizens. To cultivate the research endeavors of the USD community, the Provost Office has launched new initiatives to support, celebrate and invigorate faculty and student research across campus.
Celebrating Scholarly Submissions: With so many demands on faculty time and looming deadlines, we recognize that it is hard to find the time and motivation to complete scholarly works in progress and submit them to peer-reviewed or peer-critiqued entities. To encourage and celebrate scholarly submissions, we offer 4 deadlines throughout the year for faculty to register their submitted works and earn the much deserved Recognition for their efforts.
Events: We host Writing Hideaways, workshops, collaboration-building events, forums, and more to help faculty achieve their research goals.
