Elisa Lurkis has over 20 years of experience as a professional fundraiser. She has worked at the Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering since its inception as a school, over 10 years ago. She has helped secure funding for a variety of programs, scholarships and initiatives. Prior to joining the Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering, Lurkis worked as the Director of Development and Alumni Relations for USD’s Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies. She has also held fundraising positions at the University of California's Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation, the San Diego Museum of Man and the University of New Mexico. She is responsible for fundraising, alumni relations and building the profile for the Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering.
