Residential Education fosters the holistic development of students within the USD residential community. Emphasizing a full living and learning experience, we cultivate a sense of home at USD by helping students engage in meaningful relationships with others inside the classroom, within their residence hall, and across the greater USD community. We are committed to collaboratively providing purposefully inclusive communities that create opportunities for personal and academic success.

The goal of the Residence Hall Community Standards at USD is to enhance the sense of community in our residence halls, while also fostering a sense of personal responsibility. Rules and Regulations that exist are for the student's benefit and for the benefit of all residents of our community. We work in close partnership with The Office of Ethical Development and Restorative Practices, and utilize Restorative Justice practices where appropriate.
