Applications Timeline
Students can access the housing portal for most residential applications & forms. Login using your MySanDiego username and password.
Fall/Academic Year Application
The housing application for the Fall/full academic-year semester launches in early February for returning students and in May for new students.
Spring Application
The spring housing application launches in late October/early November for spring exchange students and those studying abroad or on a leave of absence.
Intersession Application
The Intersession housing application launches in November for anyone planning to stay on campus during the winter break and Intersession periods (Dec-Jan).
Summer Application
The summer housing application launches in May for all students who recently graduated or are pursuing a degree.
Housing Cancellations
As a reminder, all students need written approval from Residential Life to be released from the residency requirement and/or to break their housing agreement.
To initiate a cancellation request please submit a housing cancellation form through the housing portal or email housing@sandiego.edu. Cancellations are subject to approval and are not guaranteed.
