Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing

The Doctor of Philosophy degree prepares nurses for a career in research and the scholarship of discovery. Critical research is focused on health promotion, management of chronic illness, health disparities and improving the outcomes of care. The development of nursing science, interdisciplinary collaboration and dissemination of research and innovative ideas are significant aspects of the program.
