The MS in Health Care Informatics prepares professionals from all backgrounds to lead data- and technology-driven improvements in healthcare delivery and outcomes.

For nurses, the MS in Nursing – Leadership with an Informatics specialization blends clinical expertise with advanced data and technology skills, while also building leadership capabilities to drive change in healthcare.

Meet the Team

Dorothy O'Hagan

Health Care Informatics Program Director

Dorothy O’Hagan, PhD, RHIA, CCS, is the Director of USD’s Health Care Informatics Program and a Clinical Assistant Professor within the Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science. With a background in health information management and leadership, she brings expertise in clinical data, health systems, and informatics to her teaching and research.

Jannise T. Baclig

Nursing Leadership Program Director

Dr. Jannise T. Baclig, PhD, RN, is co-program director of USD’s MSN in Nursing Leadership Program. With more than 17 years of experience in clinical practice and leadership, she brings expertise in workforce development, professional education, and advancing clinical excellence across the nursing profession.

Nadine Kasity-Krich

Nursing Leadership Program Director

Nadine Kassity-Krich, MBA, BSN, RN, PHN, CNL, is co-director of the MSN in Nursing Leadership Program and a clinical assistant professor at USD’s Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science. With more than 30 years of nursing experience, she brings expertise in neonatal and pediatric care, integrative medicine, and nursing education, along with a passion for developing nurse leaders grounded in compassion and social justice.
