With over 15 years of experience in higher education, healthcare recruitment, and administrative leadership, Gina Manzella currently serves as the Director of Admissions at the University of San Diego’s Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science. In this role, she leads strategic enrollment initiatives, fosters student-centered admissions practices, and supports the advancement of nursing education.

Prior to her current position, Gina held several key roles at the University of San Diego, including Executive Assistant for the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program and earlier as a university cashier, where she developed a deep understanding of student services and academic operations.

Earlier in her career, Gina spent over seven years at the University of Phoenix, where she was promoted to Training and Events Specialist. There, she designed and delivered training programs, led leadership development initiatives, and coordinated large-scale events. As a Faculty Recruiter, she was instrumental in hiring qualified educators across multiple disciplines and campuses.
