Bri DuBose is a lecturer in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program for Health Policy Analysis and Reflective Practice. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University. Driven by the desire to drive efficiency and safety, she returned to Arizona State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master in Healthcare Innovation degree. Bri earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing from University of San Diego and received a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from University of California San Diego.

Her clinical background is emergency nursing and has worked in Emergency Departments in Arizona and San Diego. She is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt at Sharp HealthCare where she is an internal consultant for the organization and leads process improvement initiatives across every level and discipline. She also teaches and provides mentorship at Sharp HealthCare and has been acknowledged twice as Nurse of Year for Mentorship and Educator.

Bri DuBose’s dissertation, Suicide Mortality of Emergency Department Patients, reflects her passion for mental health parity and suicide prevention. She is also an advocate for equity and addressing health disparities through root cause analysis and health policy reform.
