Who We Are
Our office can help you get involved on campus. We provide information and resources on joining, starting, and/or managing student organizations. We offer leadership development opportunities through the Student Org Leadership Training, Associated Student Government, and Torero Program Board. SAI holds multiple yearly events like the Alcala Bazaar and Weeks of Welcome to enhance students’ experience. Our department also employs student workers as Involvement Consultants, in the Creative Zone, and in the Food Pantry. Have questions? Email us at sai@sandiego.edu!
Mission
Student Activities and Involvement (SAI) seeks to provide undergraduate students with transformational co-curricular experiences that foster engagement and leadership development. SAI aims to create an environment in which students find community, value difference, and cultivate positive social change.
Learning Outcomes
Student Activities and Involvement (SAI) recognizes that meaningful learning takes place through involvement experiences. To support this, SAI has created Student Learning Outcomes that serve as a framework for its programs and services. These objectives focus on four key areas: Leadership and Professional Development, Ethical Responsibility, Goal Setting, and Advocacy, and are designed to enhance the student experience through intentional engagement.
