Employment Separation

Resigning from USD

Planning Your Departure

Employees who choose to resign should notify their supervisor in writing and include their intended last day of employment. As a professional courtesy, employees are encouraged to provide at least two weeks' notice.

Once Human Resources receives notification of your resignation, we will:

Provide information about the separation process.

Send an Exit Survey.

Coordinate the clearance process with your department and applicable campus offices.
