Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Confidential support for life's everyday challenges.

At USD, we recognize that personal and professional well-being go hand in hand. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides confidential resources and support to help employees and their immediate family members navigate life's challenges and maintain overall well-being.

Whether you're managing stress, balancing family responsibilities, planning for the future, or facing unexpected difficulties, the EAP offers access to professional guidance and helpful resources at no cost to you.

How the EAP Can Help

The EAP provides confidential support for a variety of personal and work-life concerns, including:

Emotional Health

Stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and other personal challenges.

Family & Relationships

Parenting, caregiving, marriage, and family concerns.

Financial & Legal Resources

Budgeting, financial planning, and referrals for legal assistance.

Work-Life Balance

Managing workplace stress and navigating life transitions.

Substance Use Support

Resources and guidance for substance use concerns.

Everyday Life Challenges

Professional support for many of life's unexpected situations.

Your Privacy Matters

Confidentiality is a cornerstone of the Employee Assistance Program.

If you access EAP services directly, the university does not know that you have participated. Human Resources receives only anonymous, aggregated usage reports that include general participation trends and categories of support — not names or identifying information.

Accessing the EAP

Employees and their immediate family members can access EAP services by phone or online.
