The University of San Diego supports breastfeeding mothers by providing a private, comfortable room for nursing. It is open to all students, staff, and faculty free of charge. The room comes equipped with a glider, changing table, sink and cleaning supplies.
Hours are Monday through Thursday from 7 am to 11 pm, Friday from 7 am to 10 pm, Saturday from 9 am to 10 pm, and Sunday from 9 am to 11 pm.

The Department of Environmental Health & Safety's Ergonomics Program strives to eliminate all repetitive motion injuries in the workplace through preventative workstation evaluations and training. University Employee Recreation and Fitness Opportunities
USD Employees may access on-campus recreation and fitness facilities for free during posted hours of operation through our Recreational Wellness Program. Simply fill out a facility waiver and show your Torero ID card on the way in. Facilities include the Sports Center (outdoor pool, tennis courts and a TRX Functional Training Station, and indoor basketball/volleyball courts and locker rooms) and the Palomar Health Student Wellness Center (indoor fitness, strength, basketball/volleyball, and rejuvenation amenities, and outdoor bouldering, functional training, sand volleyball, tennis/pickleball, and basketball).
Drop-in and Semester Long Fitness and Recreation Classes
Recreational Wellness offers two unique class programs open to employees including Group Fitness class and Non-Credit Recreation classes.
Non-Credit Recreation classes are non-fitness based classes designed for sport or skill development such as SCUBA certification, tennis, pickleball, martial arts formats, CPR certification, cooking and more. USD Employees are eligible to register for any Recreation as non-credit pending availability. Each class has an associated fee due upon registration.
Intramurals
USD Employees are encouraged to participate in Campus Recreation's Intramural program. Intramurals are 6-8 week sport leagues including volleyball, flag football, soccer, basketball, softball, tennis and pickleball. Join by registering a team as a team captain, joining an existing team or by being placed on a team as a free-agent. Intramurals run every fall, spring and summer! Paid semester Intramural membership required to participate.
Family/Friend Facility Passes
Full time benefit-based employees may also receive up to four free annual family/friend "Facility Use Passes". The Facilities Use Pass grants the pass-holder access to the Sports Center only during posted operating hours. Passes are not valid at the Palomar Health Student Wellness Center.
