Are you having trouble balancing your academics and other responsibilities? Reach out to the Center for Student Success (CSS) for some one-on-one help. Peer coaches and professional staff are able to assist you in generating a Student Success Plan that includes academic and personal goals, developing time management and study skills, and becoming more connected at USD and much more!
If you are a member of Student Support Services take advantage of the resources available to you through their office such as tutoring, academic advising, and cultural and social activities.
To commute within San Diego, you will need a PRONTO card. It is earn-as-you-go to get the best fare. You load money into your PRONTO account or onto your card, then scan or tap with each trip you make to earn a Day or Month Pass as you ride. USD has a partnership with San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (SDMTS) where they sell the Monthly and semester passes to students in the USD Ticket office located near Tu Mercado.
You can also download the PRONTO app in the Apple Store or in Google pay and scan it in any MTS bus or trolley.

As a recognized Changemaker campus, USD offers a wide variety of ways for you to get involved and make a difference. Join a student organization or Associated Student Government, or simply be active in our community. Check out these lists of clubs and organizations and sports and recreation for more info on what USD has to offer! Taking part in a learning community will enrich your introduction to USD in many ways. In your learning community, you will learn to recognize broad connections between different ways of problem-solving and learn to articulate the benefits of using multiple perspectives to identify solutions to today’s urgent challenges. Your learning community will help ease your academic and social transition to USD, expand your intellectual curiosity beyond the classroom, and establish an immediate sense of community with your faculty and fellow students.

The Torero Hub, located on UC 126 near the Commuter Commons, is your primary resource for all non-academic inquiries, from financial aid and billing to class registration. We're dedicated to helping you get the answers you need and guide you along the way so you can focus on the important things — experiencing everything USD has to offer.

The Office of Ethical Development and Restorative Practices in the Division of Student Affairs is responsible for the implementation of the Student Code of Rights and Responsibilities. Through the student conduct process, this office works with students to gain greater insight into their choices and behaviors in order to provide a safe environment for the campus community, one that supports the academic mission and provides a productive living and learning environment.
