The real estate program at the University of San Diego's Knauss School of Business and the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate began planning its Campaign for Student Success as the necessary means to enhance its ability to recruit and retain top-notch faculty in the real estate program and to raise significant scholarship funds. In March 2024, the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate's Campaign for Student Success surpassed its goal, raising $11.8 million. See the outcomes of the Campaign below.

The Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate has come a long way since its founding in 2004. Every day, we engage in our mission to recruit, educate and mentor a diverse group of real estate students and facilitate their career pursuits. A successful career in real estate is more than textbook knowledge about land use, structures, analysis and finance — it is heavily weighted on relationships. To that end, the Burnham-Moores Center aligns an assessment of student strengths and interests with curriculum, industry connections and mentors. When students experience the benefits of direct connections with industry professionals, combined with rigorous academics, site visits and access to extraordinary faculty, the result is top-level graduates for the real estate industry — graduates who become outstanding professionals and industry leaders, and eventually, generous alumni of the University of San Diego. This is a winning formula for year-over-year success.
