Study Real Estate and Law, Simultaneously
Whether you are interested in starting your own real estate law practice or seeking to become in house counsel at a top commercial real estate firm, the Juris Doctor (JD) - Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) dual degree program offers you a solid foundation to build your future and advance your career.
Finishing your JD and MSRE degrees at a full-time pace will take approximately four years. You will spend your first year at the School of Law, where your classes will be set for you. The majority of your second year will be spent at the School of Business taking MSRE courses with the option of taking a couple of School of Law electives if you would like. You will then return to the School of Law to complete the JD requirements.
Double Counting Classes
Six of the units you take for the MSRE will count toward your JD degree, and six of the units you take for the JD will count toward your MSRE degree. Since each school has its own process, we highly recommend consulting with both your JD and MSRE academic advisors for information on how to apply these units.
