The History Department's 10 full-time faculty members offer classes in Public history, American, British, European, Latin American, Middle Eastern, African, Japanese and Chinese history. Faculty balance their commitment to undergraduate teaching with research, producing award-winning books and articles on a regular basis. We bring our research interests into the classroom. Students learn to work with original sources and to think critically about a wide variety of historical issues.
