Lessons From the Field: Four insights into how the pandemic has affected the wealth of real families & what they are doing about it

Join us for a lecture offered by guest speaker, James F. (Buddy) Thomas, Jr. CFP, AEP, President and Chief Planning Officer of Superior Planning, Inc. Buddy will share four insights into how the pandemic has affected the wealth of real families and what they are doing about it.

Lesson #1 – Cash Flow is King - Refocusing on sustainable income

Lesson #2 – Investment Policy Matters - Total return in unpredictable markets

Lesson #3 – Goals are like magnets - The importance of vision in chaos

Lesson #4 – It is not about you - Advantages of premature estate settlement

Bridges Academy is a continuing education program hosted by the University of San Diego Office of Planned Giving. While the lecture series is free to all participants, the Office of Planned Giving encourages the support of the Bridges Endowed Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to undergraduate students. The first Bridges scholarships awarded were for $1,000 per student. In 2019, the scholarship recipients each received $4,710. Thank you all so very much for making this possible.
