This year marks the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment, which prohibits the states and the federal government from denying the right to vote to citizens of the United States on the basis of sex.

History Professor Emerita Iris Engstrand, PhD, will discuss the history and significance of the 19th amendment and what role it plays in an election year. Moderated by Political Science and International Relations Professor Del Dickson, PhD, JD.
