Intersession 2027
Intersession 2027 runs from January 4 - 22, 2027
- Online registration: Thursday, October 1 - Thursday, October, 29 2026.
- After October 29 online registration is closed to all registrations; you may not add classes online; see Important Dates.
- Once online registration has ended, you will not be able to register yourself on the My SanDiego Portal. After paying for the course via your My Online Student Account (video tutorial) or securing financial aid, submit the Torero Hub Question Form and select Add/Drop.
- All Remote Courses Offered are Synchronous: DSCI 303 (CRN 91), ECON 101 (CRN 33), ECON 102 (35), ECON 216 (CRN 36), MKTG 300 (CRN 12), MUSC 342 (CRN 61) and PHIL 348 (CRN 28).
- Students whose permanent residence is in one of the listed unauthorized states cannot be enrolled in the remote courses offered by USD due to restrictions imposed by their home state laws.
- The cost for classes is based on the per unit rate of your degree program; see Tuition and Fees.
- Tuition for Summer Session is partially or fully refundable only when a student officially withdraws and according to the refund schedule.
- Units: 4 units max allowed during the 3-week term. If more units are necessary, you may request an Appeal for Overload. Before signing up for your overload class, you must get approval signatures from (1) your advisor, (2) your dean, and (3) the Summer and Intersession Associate Registrar. After completing the course information, sign the form and send it to your academic advisor. It will then be routed to the Dean's Office and the Summer and Intersession Office for approval.
