Reasons to study at USD during the Summer and Intersession

Continuing Summer and Intersession programs provide students with the opportunity for a greater role in planning their total program. Students may enrich their course of study, reduce the overall time spent in school and decrease their regular course load by careful selection of Summer and Intersession courses. Instruction is offered in standard courses by USD faculty and visiting professors. Visiting students are able to study in a fresh atmosphere and locale, San Diego.

USD's 182-acre campus overlooking San Diego Mission Bay is regarded as one of the most architecturally distinctive in the country, with its buildings designed in an ornamental 16th-century Spanish Renaissance style. Here in San Diego students find a truly fascinating variety of leisure-time activities, including visits to the city's outstanding zoo, the museums, the old Spanish mission, the theatre, swimming, boating, surfing, tennis, golf and many others. Proximity to Mexico provides an excellent opportunity for gaining a first hand insight into the Mexican culture.

Please be advised, approval to enroll in Summer and Intersession courses does not constitute acceptance into a program at the University of San Diego.
