Become a Member
The Collaborative welcomes local and regional public agencies, 501(c)(3) nonprofits, and academic and research institutions as its core members. For-profit organizations can become working group members or sponsors. Find out if your organization is a current member here or fill out our application to join us today!

Nonprofit Entities
Membership Defined: SDRCC welcomes local and regional public agencies, 501(c)(3) nonprofits, and academic and research institutions as its core members. Note: SDRCC is not intended to be used as an advocacy forum for organizations to influence local and regional public agencies.
Membership Levels: SDRCC has three levels of membership - Participating, Supporting and Leading. Each level provides varying levels of access to benefits, services, and leadership opportunities. Membership level is determined by an annual contribution. The amount an organization is required to contribute to join a level is based on employee size.

Membership Approval Process: New members will be assessed on the criteria outlined above and voted on by the Board.
Enrollment: Interested organizations are encouraged to join SDRCC two times a year in January and July. Membership is active for one year.
Notes:
- Large organizations may choose to join as an entire organization or by department. Please contact SDRCC with any questions regarding membership.
- Leading membership dues can be provided via “find or fund” contributions.
- “A Small City Scholarship Fund” is available to provide support for 1-2 small cities to participate as members on the Board each year. Please contact SDRCC for details regarding scholarship opportunities.
For-Profit Entities
Membership Defined: All interested for-profit organizations have the opportunity to join SDRCC as either a Working Group or Sustaining Sponsor member. Note: SDRCC is not intended to be a forum for companies to solicit local and regional public agencies.
Membership Levels: Both membership levels provide the opportunity to collaborate with SDRCC members and access tools and resources, and Sustaining Sponsors enjoy additional benefits such as the ability to showcase services and host events. The amount an organization is required to contribute to join is based on annual revenue.

- Individual consultants on working groups can contact SDRCC to provide an in-kind exchange in lieu of paying membership dues.
