The Californian's for All College Corps is a statewide program that aims to create debt-free pathways for college students committed to building community and addressing California's societal challenges related to K-12 education, environmental stewardship, and food insecurity. Fellows are placed with a community host organization, either a public agency or nonprofit, and have the opportunity to receive up to $10,000 to cover educational costs in exchange for 450 hours of professional service work per academic year. In collaboration with local leaders, The University of San Diego has been a leading campus in enacting environmental stewardship through various programs, policies, and strategies for over a decade. As such, the University of San Diego is a proud campus host partner of the CaliforniansForAll College Corps Program.

The San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative has built a strong regional network with public agencies, nonprofit organizations, academia, businesses and community leaders. These integral partnerships have driven local environmental stewardship through aligned regional collaboration and foundational, innovative research. Looking ahead, the San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative understands that a positive future lies in the hands of a strong environmental steward workforce.
In its inaugural cohort, the San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative matched 30 College Corps Fellows to community partners around the San Diego region. This year, the San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative is excited to continue its partnership with College Corps to prepare and train future climate leaders.
Special thanks to our partners at City of Encinitas, Port of San Diego, San Diego Foundation, City of Carlsbad, San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, County of San Diego, City of Chula Vista, City of San Diego, and City of La Mesa for hosting fellows during the 2022-2023 school year!
