Congratulations on your admittance to the University of San Diego's School of Leadership and Education Sciences. To facilitate your enrollment process, we have compiled a list of the next steps to complete before your start term.
List of tasks for Admitted Students
All Students
(For Domestic and International Students)
Locate the email, subject line "Track Your USD Application", for your log-in credentials to the MySanDiego portal.
- Log into the MySanDiego Portal
- Click on Admissions
- Click on Admitted
- Turn-off your pop-up blocker
- Click on Make my Deposit
You will be redirected to a secure site to make your non-refundable enrollment deposit.

24 hours after making the enrollment deposit, claim your USDOne account and USD email (username@sandiego.edu).
Once you have claimed your account, you can access the MySanDiego Portal with the username and password you created. Your username will also act as your USD Student Email address (username@sandiego.edu).
Helpful Tips: Enter Your 9-digit USD ID instead of the last four digits of your SSN or Pin.
Enter the personal email that you used on your application. Write down the email generated when you claim your USDOne account. You will need the email username and password to access the MySanDiego PortalAvailable 24 - 28 hours after you create your USD One account.
USD requires immunization records and TB screenings to protect the health and well-being of all our students. Registration holds are in place until the requirements are met. To remove the registration hold:
- Log into USD My Wellness
- Click on Forms
- Complete Immunization History
- Upload Immunization Records
Plan for Registration
Check your USD email for registration instructions from your Academic Programs Manager.
AFTER you are advised, register for courses.
- Log into the MySanDiego Portal
- Click on My Academics
- Use the links to "Check for Holds", "Search for Classes" or "Add/Drop Classes"
Available after you have claimed your USDOne Account.
Complete Financial Aid Red Flags
Log into MySanDiego Portal with your USDOne username and password.

- Complete Financial Aid Requirements
- Red Flag: Outstanding Requirement
- Yellow Triangle: Received Not Yet Reviewed/Pending
- Green Check: Satisfied

Domestic Students
All full-time, on-campus/hybrid, graduate students are required to carry health insurance. You need to actively enroll in or waive out of the USD-sponsored Student Health Insurance Plan.
Helpful tips for first time login:
- Your username is your USD email address (i.e. jdoe@sandiego.edu)
- Your student ID (i.e. 00XXXXXX) acts as your password
Students who do not submit an insurance decision form will be automatically enrolled in the USD plan and be responsible for the premium charged to their Student Account.

Student ID Card
Download the MyUSD mobile app to easily access your Campus Torero ID Card on your phone. You can upload your own photo for your ID card through USD GET. Upload your photo at least 30 days before the first day of classes in order for your card to be activated and ready for you when you arrive on campus.
If you prefer, you may instead have a photo taken at the Campus Card office. Please be prepared for extended wait times during orientation timeframe.
Get Your Parking Permit
Review permit options and purchase your parking permit through the Office of Parking Services. Registered students will recieve an email when parking permits are available for purchase.

International Students
(Information specific to ONLY international students)
Available after you have claimed your USDOne account and USD email (username@sandiego.edu).
The Office of Graduate Admission will issue the I-20 form. You will receive an email from grads@sandiego.edu with additional information to submit the required visa documentation:
- Passport Information
- Verification of Immigration Status
- Confirm Mailing Address/Shipment Method
- SEVIS Transfer In Request (ONLY for transfer students)
- Proof of Funding

F-1 and J-1 visa holders are eligible to enroll in the USD International Health Insurance Plan.
Submit a decision form to either enroll or waive out of USD's health plan at International Student Insurance.
