Kroc IPJ Practice Fellowship

The Kroc IPJ Practice Fellowship offers Kroc School students the opportunity to apply their skills in real-world peacebuilding while earning their degree. Fellows are embedded in Kroc IPJ teams, contributing to initiatives that address violence, inequality, and injustice—locally and globally.

From cross-border work in the San Diego-Tijuana region to statewide violence prevention and women, peace, and security initiatives, Fellows support applied research, partner engagement, event coordination, and more. This hands-on experience equips students with practical tools to lead change in complex contexts.

Fellows receive a $5,000 merit-based scholarship, paid hourly work, and professional mentorship—making this both a learning opportunity and a launchpad for impact.
