A Proud Partner of AFIT and DUINS Programs
We are honored to support the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy by offering qualified nurses and service members the opportunity to earn their master’s or doctoral degree through the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) or Duty Under Instruction (DUINS) programs.
Prospective Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), Nurse Practitioner, and Nursing Informatics applicants applying through AFIT or DUINS can expect dedicated support throughout the entire process — from application and enrollment to graduation and beyond.

Supporting Veterans Through the Yellow Ribbon Program
The University of San Diego is a proud participant of the Yellow Ribbon Program.
The Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program (Yellow Ribbon Program) is a provision of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008, also known as the Post-9/11 G.I. Bill® or Chapter 33. The program allows institutions to contribute an amount of up to 50 percent of a veteran's unmet costs. Via the program, all Veteran, Active Duty Service Members, Spouses, and Dependent Children students 100% eligible for Chapter 33 Post 9/11 G.I. Bill® are granted additional funding for tuition.
