Her path to learning design and student success is rooted in policy, team leadership, and adult education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Law and National Security from Regent University and is currently earning her master’s in Learning Design and Technology at USD. Before graduate school, Tiesha built extensive leadership experience by co-managing a service team of over 50 leaders at GEICO, developing catastrophe response and claims training programs at USAA, and mentoring transitioning service members through American Corporate Partners (ACP).
Whether coordinating a campus event or mentoring a fellow veteran, Tiesha is passionate about building clear pathways, supportive systems, and welcoming spaces where adult and military-connected learners can thrive.
