Core Requirements Overview

The Core Curriculum aims to challenge students to evaluate their existing assumptions by exposing them to new ideas. A rigorous curriculum awakens and stimulates in the student a desire to explore, experiment, reason and transform — not only themselves but the world around them as they discern their own place in it. The Core Curriculum comprises four components: Competencies, Explorations, Foundations and Integration.

Each semester, the courses that satisfy the Core requirements are updated. Therefore, it is imperative that faculty and students check the course schedule prior to student registration.
