Leave of Absence and Withdrawal

The Center for Student Success processes leaves of absence and withdrawals for undergraduate students.

For Incoming Students ONLY

If you have been recently admitted to USD or newly enrolled and have been attending classes for 8 days or fewer, here are your options:

Want to postpone or delay your admission offer to USD?

Deferral

You must complete a deferral request. To learn about the deferral process and request a deferral form, email the Office of Undergraduate Admissions (admissions@sandiego.edu).

This option is ONLY for those who have been recently admitted to USD or are newly enrolled and have been attending classes for eight days or fewer and now wish to postpone their admission offer to a later term.

No longer wish to attend USD and want to decline your acceptance?

Change of Plans

You must let us know of your status as soon as possible. Submit this Undergraduate Admissions Change of Plans Form. Technical issues? Email admissions@sandiego.edu.

This option is ONLY for those who have been recently admitted to USD or are newly enrolled and have been attending classes for eight days or fewer and no longer wish to attend USD.
