This is your USD News Minute.

Dr. Darren Kew has been named the new dean of the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies. Dr. Kew comes to USD from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, where he is a professor and former Chair of the Department of Conflict Resolution, Human Security, and Global Governance, and Executive Director of the Center for Peace, Democracy, and Development. His first day will be July 1. 

The Center for Inclusion and Diversity is inviting you to share your perception of USD’s campus climate related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The 2024 Campus Climate Survey is being administered to undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, and administrators at USD. The first 1,000 people to complete it will receive a voucher for a free coffee or tea at Aromas. The survey is open until April 30th, click on the link to fill it out.

Several women from the University of San Diego were selected as the "Top Women Leaders of San Diego for 2024" by Women We Admire. Congratulations to Diana Hannasch-Haag, director of retention for online programs, Sara Orlansky, senior director of development at SOLES, and Emily Schell, executive director of the California Global Education Project.
