Students for Life Present L.I.F.E. Week, April 23-28

LIFE Week 2018The University of San Diego's Students for Life organization will host its 12th annual Life Is For Everyone (L.I.F.E.) Week April 23-28 with events each day to celebrate the dignity of life.

Recognition of the preciousness, value, respect and human dignity of life will be celebrated April 23-28 at the University of San Diego as the 12th annual L.I.F.E. (Life is For Everyone) Week is hosted by USD's University Ministry-sponsored Students for Life organization.

The purpose of this weeklong celebration is to educate the USD community on life issues and, as a Catholic university, to express an appreciation for our self-worth while recognizing and supporting the worth and goodness inherent in all those we encounter, especially the vulnerable.

Each day of L.I.F.E. Week spotlights a different life issue: Drug and Alcohol Abuse, Human Trafficking, Mental Health, Abortion, Hunger/Homelessness, and this year, the campus community can participate in a special Race for Life 5K run/walk on April 28.

The daily events, according to the Students for Life leadership team, offer speakers, service opportunities and prayer experiences. A photo contest is now open for voting as there is an exhibit display now in the Hahn University Center foyer. USD students can vote for one favorite photo.
